Applications are invited for the post of Field cum Laboratory Assistant under the Project entitled "HIMSELF" sponsored by Department of science & Technology, New Delhi under the supervision of Dr.A.K. Mahajan, 'C' & P.I., Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology.

Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellow (One- Temporary - tenable upto 24.08.2009)

Emoluments: Rs. 9,000.- plus (7.5%) H.R.A.

Essential Qualification:

First class M.Sc./M.Tech in Geology / Geophysicist. (ii) Candidate must have experience in Seismology, Seismic data acquisition and seismic data analysis. Candidate who have cleared NET/GATE, UGC-CSIR combined examination will be given preference. At least two year research experience is required for the post.
