Qualifications:
At least high second class Master’s degree in Demography / Statistics / Economics / Sociology / Psychology / Anthropology / Mathematics / Geography. Ph.D. degree or published work of equivalent standard (desirable). Persons with P.G. Degree in subjects other than Demography should have studied / training in Demography / Population Studies. At least 10 years teaching / research experience of high standard with publications in journals of repute at national and international level in the field of demography / Population Studies or conducting socio-economic surveys, out of which at least 5 years as Lecturer / Research Officer is essential.
