Applications on plain paper are invited within 30 Days from the date of publishing of this advertisement from eligible candidates for a post of Assistant Professor Jobs (History of Art) in National Museum Institute, New Delhi in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500/- with allowances as admissible to equally placed Central Government employee, in leave vacancy on contract basis initially for a period of 1 year. The candidates should possess:

Essential Qualifications:

a) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E,&F at the Master’s Degree level in History of Art / History / Anthropology / Archaeology from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.

b) Should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
